FRONT 242 - Headhunter 2000 [ltd Gold Master]
This particular version of the Headhunter 2000 single, released by Energy Rekords, contains only one CD and also contains a few mixes not found on the Zoth Ommog and Metropolis versions.  Some of the mixes found on both are the Apoptygma Berzerk Mix, the Front Line Assembly Mix, the Leæther Strip Mix, and the Funker Vogt Mix, all of which are somewhat unique in their own way, but at the same time they are also somewhat repetitive.  The Project-X Mix is exclusive to this CD and injects some of their own quirky dance electro style into this track.  Another mix that is unique to this CD is the one reworked by synth-pop favorites Children Within.  Children Within take this dance floor winner and whip it into another dance floor capable piece complete with hard, steady beats, aggressive vocals, and a whimsical synth patterns.  Mixes from Haujobb, Emperion, Space Frog, and others, all of which become boring and redundant after a while, comprise the remainder of the CD.  I still think it would have been a much better idea to have each band remix a different Front 242 track, rather than having all of them focus on the same one, but then again, that's simply my own opinion.
